About the Feast
The Inspiring Journey of The Feast Light Prince George
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
What began as a small spark of inspiration has grown into a shining beacon of hope and faith in our community- The Feast Light Prince George. This is a story of courage, faith, and a heartfelt desire to bring God’s love to Prince George, despite the uncertainties and fears that initially surrounded us.
Our journey began with a divine encounter. Bro. Babet noticed Bro. Jovan wearing a Feast T-shirt at their workplace, a simple yet profound moment that would lead to something extraordinary. Inspired by this encounter, Bro. Jovan and his wife, Sis Jeri, met on June 30, 2024, at McDonald’s to share their experiences with the Feast.

Little did we know, this meeting would set the stage for something much greater. By the following Sunday, Bro. Jovan, Sis Jeri, my son Killian, Kuya Mike, and my husband Bro. Babet gathered for a video call with Bro. Monching Bueno, The Feast Builder of Feast Canada, and his wife, Sis Mia Bueno. With their blessings and encouragement, The Feast Light Prince George was born.
We are deeply grateful to Bro. Allan Diaz, the Feast Builder of BC, and his wife, Sis Marilou, for their love and support during the birth of the newest Feast Light in BC. Their presence and guidance have been a tremendous source of strength and inspiration for us. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Very Rev. Rectorino M. Tolentino, Jr., whose support enabled us to be acknowledged by all. It is our mission to be a guiding the Diocese of Prince George. This recognition allowed us to deepen our faith and service, not only within The Feast Light community but also within the Sacred Heart Cathedral, where we continue to serve and grow in our Catholic faith.
On June 14, 2024, we held our very first weekly gathering, marking the true beginning of our journey. With God’s grace, our core group was formed, consisting of Bro. Eugene, Bro. Migs, Sis Mimi, and Iggy Boy. From there, our family began to grow, as more servants answered the call to serve, including Bro. Chan, Sis Mica, and Sis Dhana. Through humility, dedication, and an unwavering love for God, The Feast Light Prince George has flourished.
Today, we stand as a growing, vibrant community, blessed to serve and to spread God’s love. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of those around us, sharing His word, and bringing hope and inspiration to all. It is our mission to be our guiding light in Prince George, touching hearts and bringing people closer to God.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. As we continue to gather, worship, and serve, may we always remember that with God, all things are possible. Let us keep saying “yes” to His call and allow Him to work through us to bless others.
In Christ’s love and service,
Sis Tet
